Paintless Dent Repair in Littlestown, Pennsylvania
Paintless dent repair works the metal back into shape from behind the panel, leaving the factory finish untouched. When a dent qualifies, it is the better repair and not merely the cheaper one.
Why keeping original paint matters
Factory paint is applied to a bare shell under conditions no auto body shop can reproduce afterward. Any refinish, however well executed, replaces that with something applied later. A dent lifted out with the original finish still on it leaves no repair history on the panel at all.
What qualifies
Door dings from a parking lot. Hail across a hood and roof. Rounded creases where the paint stretched but never split. The metal has to still be reachable from behind, which means access through a window channel, a taillight opening, or a panel we can drop temporarily.
What does not
If the paint is cracked or chipped at the low point, PDR cannot put it back and the panel needs conventional repair and refinishing. Dents on a hard body line, dents at the very edge of a panel, and previously filled areas are all poor candidates. Some aluminum panels will not take PDR at all, since aluminum lacks the memory that lets steel return to shape.

Hail
After a storm moves through Adams County we see a lot of hail damage at once. Most of it is textbook PDR. Insurance covers hail under comprehensive, generally without affecting your rate, and we handle that claim the same as any other.
